Meet the Committee
Introducing our team of ten committee members who wholeheartedly dedicate their time and efforts to maintain the Club's safety and efficiency. We gather at least once every term to deliberate Club affairs and chart a course for the Club's growth and advancement. Stay tuned for some thrilling upcoming ideas!
Zoe Murphy — Club Chair & Fundraising & Merchandise Officer
Zoe leads the Committee and helps guide the Club’s development, while overseeing facilities and representing HNC within the wider netball community. She also leads fundraising, merchandising and the Club’s Giving Back projects, helping secure additional support and opportunities for members.
Zoe works closely with the Committee and volunteers to keep HNC moving forward while maintaining the welcoming community at the heart of the Club.

Michaela Bethell — Administration Manager
Michaela has been involved with HNC since 2018 and coordinates much of the work that keeps the Club running behind the scenes. From membership, communications and the website to policies, compliance, events and Committee administration, she helps keep everything organised and connected.
Michaela particularly enjoys developing the Club, improving how things work and supporting the volunteers, players and families who make HNC what it is.
Michaela once tried Back to Netball—but lasted only one week after discovering it had become far too much of a contact sport!

Mary Hartley — Vice Chair, Club Safeguarding Officer & Interim Head Coach
Mary supports the Chair and wider Committee while taking the lead on safeguarding and player welfare across HNC. She provides guidance to coaches, volunteers, players and families, helping ensure the Club remains a safe and supportive environment for its young people.
Approachable and experienced, Mary plays an important role in ensuring safeguarding remains at the heart of everything the Club does.

Sophie Baverstock — Deputy Club Safeguarding Officer & Kit Coordinator
Sophie supports the Club Safeguarding Officer in helping maintain a safe, supportive environment for HNC’s young players.
She also coordinates Club kit, working with suppliers and members to manage orders and resolve queries. Across both roles, Sophie helps ensure players and families are well supported both on and off the court.

Adewale Bajulaiye — Finance Officer
Adewale helps manage HNC’s finances, ensuring the Club’s income, expenditure and financial records are carefully monitored and maintained. Working closely with the Committee, the Finance team manages payments, budgets and reporting, helping ensure Club funds are used responsibly and effectively to support members and the continued development of HNC.
Lucy Richardson — Finance Officer & Events Coordinator
Lucy combines her Finance role with helping organise the events and experiences that bring the HNC community together.
Alongside supporting budgets, payments and financial records, she helps plan Club events and trips, coordinating the practical details needed to make them enjoyable, inclusive and well organised for players, volunteers and families.

Zoe Williams — Events Coordinator
Zoe helps create the social events and trips that make being part of HNC about more than training and matches. She helps organise everything from Club celebrations and awards to trips and social activities, coordinating venues, travel and all the practical details. Her role helps bring players, volunteers and families together and create memorable experiences across the Club.
