What would you like to know?
Keeping in touch
What to expect at your first session
Players should arrive a few minutes early, ready to take part.
Please wear comfortable sportswear and trainers, and bring:
• A full water bottle
• Extra layers for cool weather
• A waterproof jacket if rain is expected
Long hair must be tied back, fingernails should be kept short, and all jewellery—including earrings—must be removed before training.
There’s no need to buy HNC kit for a taster session. Our coaches will welcome your child, introduce them to their group and help them settle in.
Once you’ve submitted your child’s registration form, we’ll invite you to join their Year Group WhatsApp group. This is your main place for training questions, absence notifications, reminders and updates.
For anything else, or anything you’d prefer to discuss privately, please email contact@hitchinnetballclub.co.uk.
For safeguarding concerns, please use the dedicated contact route on our Safeguarding page.
After the taster session
-
If your child enjoys the taster session and would like to join HNC, we’ll send you the information needed to complete their membership.
-
The Club membership fee and England Netball membership must be paid before your child attends their next training session.
-
Once both payments are complete, your child can begin attending their regular weekly training sessions.
