Whether your child is new to netball or already has playing experience, Hitchin Netball Club welcomes players of all abilities from Year 3 to Year 13.
Our qualified coaches provide a fun, safe and supportive environment where players develop confidence, build lasting friendships and enjoy the game. From learning the fundamentals to competing in league netball, we provide opportunities for every stage of a player's development.

Training & Match Play
Training takes place on Tuesday evenings during term time at The Priory School, Hitchin.
Players train within their age group and, where appropriate, progress into competitive match play as they develop.

New Players
The first step is to complete our online registration form using the Register button at the top of this page.
If a suitable place is available, your child will be invited to a taster session. You will then be asked to pay the £20 Taster Reservation Fee.

Please note that places are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed in every year group.
Families invited to a taster session are asked to pay a £20 Place Reservation Fee. If the player joins HNC afterwards, this fee is deducted from their first Club payment.
Waiting List
If your preferred year group is full or registration is closed, you can add your child to our waiting list using the button at the top of this page.
Places are offered throughout the season as vacancies arise. When a suitable place becomes available, your child will normally be invited to attend the next scheduled taster session.
At the start of each season, families on the waiting list are invited to apply for available places.
What Happens After the Taster Session?
Following their taster session, we will send you details of the next steps.
Taster session → Club fees payment → England Netball membership → Order Club kit → Next regular training session

We offer annual, termly and monthly payment options to help spread the cost.

If the cost of membership may prevent your child from taking part, please contact us in confidence. We are committed to ensuring netball is accessible to every family.
England Netball Membership
Once joining HNC, all players must hold a current England Netball membership before attending their next regular training session or playing in a match.
England Netball membership is separate from HNC Club fees and must be purchased or renewed each season.
